Wind Power Seminar – Market Trading of Renewable Energy and Wind Power Forecasting
We are pleased to share the contents of our recent seminar on power generation forecasting.
With the expansion of renewable energy deployment and the transition toward post-FIT and FIP schemes, there is an increasing demand for highly accurate 30-minute interval power generation forecasts.
In this seminar, we were honored to welcome Dr. Yo Yasuda, Academic Visitor at the University of Strathclyde (UK), who delivered a keynote lecture titled “The Importance of Wind Power Forecasting in the Electricity Market.”
Following the keynote, Wind Energy Institute of Tokyo (WEIT) presented its Wind Power Forecasting Service, which provides 30-minute interval forecasts.
The session included demonstrations comparing actual measured data with forecast examples, showcasing the accuracy and practical applications of the service developed through our ongoing R&D efforts.
